Anse Negresse

Small cove at the foot of the cliffs overlooking Malendure Point, it is a magnificent site from 0 to 20 m. 

The Lezarde Point

The most southern spot of the National Park, just before the bay of Bouillante. The exploration can take you up to 40 m from the piton on which the buoy is anchored. 

The Mahaut Point

The most northern spot of the National Park, in the axis of the Route de la Traversée. 

The Malendure Point

This site is accessible from Level 1 or Open Water.

Located north of Malendure beach, it is a charming site without too much depth (max 18m), where you will navigate between different dry areas on a sandy bottom.
Black gorgonians and azure sponges are scattered on the walls of the sponges, and the magic of this site makes it one of the most appreciated of the Reserve.

The Japanese Garden

This site is accessible to all levels of divers, starting from the first dive.

This site near the coast is well known to divers: at the beginning of a small dry area on a 12m
on a 12m depth, you will find an arch. Open your eyes, lobsters and other crustaceans will be watching you. Heading north, a drop-off will take you to 20 meters, where you can observe all the biodiversity of our seabed.

Anse Negresse

This site is accessible to all levels of divers, starting from the first dive. The site is also well adapted to snorkeling.

Located on the coast just behind the Japanese Garden, this site offers the advantage of being well sheltered in case of wind, swell or current. Accessible from the first dive, it is shallow and allows to observe many species from the first meters of immersion. The place is well known for the gorgonian fans that cover the bottom, where many species have settled. It is not uncommon to observe the winged inhabitants of this peaceful bay; many pelicans live and hunt there.

The Lezarde Point

This site is accessible from Level 1 or Open Water.

Last site in the south of the reserve, it is located just above the bay of Bouillante. Accessible from PE12 diver, you will be able to enjoy the quietness of the place. A ridge topped by small peaks offers the possibility to walk around on a 12m depth. Further on, a drop-off takes you to 40 meters where you can observe the incredible biodiversity of the reserve's bottom: it is common to observe turtles, lion fish, kingfish, which lead their daily life along the coast.

The Mahaut Point

This site is accessible from Level 1 or Open Water.

Last point in the north of the National Park area, the site is located just before the entrance of the town of Pointe Noire. With a shallow depth (maximum 20m), it is to be discovered because it is rarely visited.

“Les Heures Saines” diving center

“Les Heures Saines”, a diving center located in Pigeon, near the beach of Malendure, in the town of Bouillante in Guadeloupe, in front of the Pigeon Island and the Cousteau reserve, offers: freediving, snorkeling, first dive, fun dives, wreck diving or night dives, training, …
